What started out as chicks

Update on my red and blue laced wyandotte chickens.  I got them as hatch-lings in April and now they are so very large.  They have been growing and growing.  I would say they weight around five to five and one half pounds now and measure in at about twelve inches tall for feet to beak.  Very proud of them.

They are a very hardly chicken and have tolerated all this rain well, tough I can’t wait for it to dry out some.  Was only going to keep five of my chicks but they are such a tight group of girls I can’t break them up so bought them an extension to their run with an extra hen house.   Anyway, they are still about two months from laying eggs but look forward to posting my first egg photo’s.
